Al die sorg wat ek gekry het, was gebaseer op 'n wetenskaplik gebaseerde navorsingsbenadering. Die wond is deeglik skoongemaak met verdunde tee-boomolie en gaas op silikoon is gebruik om die wond te bedek. Ek is geleer hoe om na die wond te kyk tussen elke besoek. Die wond het binne 6 weke genees, tot almal se verbasing! Ek het hierdie wond al meer as 'n jaar behandel. My wens is dat almal wat aan die gevolge van druksere ly, toegang tot die kennis en sorg kan kry wat ek so gelukkig gekry het.

Al wat oorbly, is om te sê dat ek my dankbaarheid nie genoeg kan betuig teenoor die toegewyde span van WellNurse Health Services wat my in wese my gesondheid en onafhanklikheid teruggegee het nie. Net soos ek julle almal weer wil ontmoet, wil ek liewer nie meer wonde hê nie.
